Deep Web Sites: A List Of The Internet’s Most Horrible Places

Somewhere on the Internet lies deep web sites that make the world a more dangerous place. Despite the use of social media on the surface Web for horrible reasons (such as terrorist activity), here is where some of the most evil communications and transactions take place. These are the places that don’t belong anywhere else besides the dark web — just a small part of the deep web. While some of the following sites are still active, others have been taken down.

Warning: The following content was not created to encourage the use of the dark web, or any of the sites we share. It is strictly for educational purposes. If you think it is too offensive, perhaps you will want to move on and check out another one of our lists of websites.

Silk Road

Silk Road was an online black market launched in February of 2011. It was best known for being a platform for those who were looking to find drugs such as stimulants, psychedelics, prescription drugs (such as opioids), ecstasy, steroids and performance-enhancing drugs. While 70% of their 10,000 products were drugs, they also offered other types of services such as fake driver’s licences for sale.

Silk Road was shut down by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in October of 2013. It didn’t stop the former administrators of the site to launch Silk Road 2.0 in November of 2013. A year later, the 2.0 version was also shut down.

Violent Desires

According to various online sources, Violent Desires is known for being one of the most disturbing forums you can find on the deep web. This place includes discussions on planning the kidnapping and raping of young victims. If you look at the screenshot above, you will notice their tagline is “Where monstrous minds meet.” To the right of the “Board Index” link is a category name that we won’t even mention — it clearly speaks for itself. Due to the horrific and disgusting content found on Violent Desires, viewer discretion is advised.

For more information on this particular site, you can ask a real Violent Desires regular on Reddit (which includes answers from the questions of other Reddit users) anything you want.

The Human Experiment

The Human Experiment is another deep web site that’s known for being one of the most disturbing places on the dark web. It is basically like a huge warehouse filled with some of the scariest human experiments imaginable. Multiple sources say it is likely that their experimentation takes place on homeless people. Some examples of the type of torture performed on the homeless includes injecting bleach into pregnant women, sterilization, starvation and radiation exposure.

Assassination Market

Assassination Market

The Assassination Market is a predictive market and crowdfunding service created by a man who uses the alias “Kuwabatake Sanjuro.” It is used by people who want to profit from a political assassination. Anyone who visits this site can throw in some bitcoins towards a bounty on the head of a politician of their choice. To hide their location, bitcoin based bounties and prediction technology, they use the anonymity network known as Tor.

How Assassins Prove They Are Responsible For A Target’s Death

If a hitman can prove they were responsible for the death of someone on the site’s hit list, they will receive a payoff from the collection of bitcoins submitted by users.

So how does it work? The first thing the killer must do is create a text file, which contains the date of the death ahead of time. To convert the text to a unique string of characters, the site uses a cryptographic function called hash. Before the murder takes place, the assassin will embed the data in a donation of at least one bitcoin to the victim’s bounty. After the murder occurs, they will then send the text file to Sanjuro so he can verify whether the date matches the date that was sent before the murder. If the date matches the date of the murder, he assumes that the sender is the murderer. Sanjuro’s then takes 1% of the killer’s payment.

on hit list

The website can list bounties on any government official. Former president Barack Obama is on the Assassination Market’s hit list. In 2013, there were 40 bitcoins submitted for his assassination. As of October of 2017, the price of just one bitcoin was over $5,000.

A service provider with web services including The Hidden Wiki (a list of .onion hidden services). The more interesting type of service they offer is the access to real psychedelic mushrooms.

Cruel Onion Wiki

Cruel Onion Wiki is one of the sickest places you can find on the dark web. It is an extremely disturbing website that promotes the sexual torture, mutilation and killing of animals. Visitors can view images, and also watch a variety of uploaded videos on the subject.

With deep web links like the ones we just shared, it’s unfortunate that there isn’t more being done to take them all down. The dark web has become a playground for thieves, kidnappers, rapists, murderers, terrorists and even pedophiles. Hopefully with time, we will hear about many more of them being taken off the Internet. Unfortunately, despite the removal of awful deep web sites, there will always be other ones that will take their place.
